I’ve always been passionate about photography and to this day its a rare I don’t have a camera with me. I still have amazing memories of my dad working in his darkroom, the smell of the chemicals, the red light and seeing those images come to life in the developing trays – amazing and I guess you could say it’s in my blood.

I am often asked why just landscape images especially when over the years I have done everything from weddings and portraits through to commercial photography. The answer is quite simple, I enjoy all types of photography, but I am passionate about capturing landscapes images.

I am fortunate that my career is my passion and love nothing more than being out at 3am on a deserted beach with the only the sound of the waves gently washing up the beach, while I get to look up at the night sky and see the Milky May with my own eyes, or to be out on still summer evening with the sun setting behind an old derelict barn watching the sky constantly change colour. These are the sights I hope everyone can experience at least once in their life either in person or through my work.

I have been fortunate to photograph some amazing locations in Canada, but I know there are many more I still want to capture, here as well as other places around the world. Some simply because they are amazing locations, other because they will at some point disappear either through natural losses, or more worryingly due to the continued impact on the environment many seem unwilling to acknowledge or prevent.
